Hey Kate! First of all thank you for your reply. I know you’re probably running as fast as you can to win the race for the best design tool and I totally get that. I’m having a similar experience in my work.

That’s the harsh reality of digital products today. For every problem or need there’s probably an average of three different solutions each as their own software or app. Startups are sprouting everywhere with a total, client-centered approach putting the big companies under a lot of pressure. In a way I actually think that’s good. It pushes those companies to innovate like for example like Adobe, whom I personally think have grown a bit too comfortable in their seat for too long. If you snooze, you lose.

But taking the approach of opening up the discussions, listening to feedback and changing the priorities is the right way to do it, at least so I think. And it sounds like you’re already on top of that! If so, and your response was meant earnestly and not just as a damage controlling sales speech for my readers, I’m sure you’ll continue to support many designers in their work.

However, I’ve solved my problem by choosing another service so I don’t really have an interest in AdobeXD for now. At the end of the day, I have to deliver quality designs to my bosses and our users and for that, I need the right tools. I’m sure most designers you ask will tell you something similar.

Lastly, I really hope you remember to take some time off from all your hard work! 🏖🍻✨

Best of wishes, Signe.
